He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Munz and Dorothy Troy Munz. He is survived by: his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Stuart Kumasaka; his son Michael G. Munz; his granddaughter Jenna; his brothers, Herb (Barbara), Tom (Carol), Joe (Gale) and Frank; and his sisters-in-law, Patti (Scott) and Pam. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
