With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John W. Shreve (Romney, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to John W.'s earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration John W. has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his father Darrell Douglas Shreve. He is survived by: his mother Paula Rae Shreve; his wife Lori Carbary-Shreve; his children, Christopher John Douglas Shreve of Chicago and Vanessa Kate Shreve Miranda (Larry) of Winchester; his siblings, Douglas Shreve (Lisa) of Fort Ashby, Brien Shreve (Kathy) of Romney, Michael Shreve (Cindy) of Fort Ashby and Cindy Shreve of Fort Ashby; and his stepchildren, Justin Carbary (Kristy) of Dallas and Kelsey Jones (Sean) of Winchester. He is also survived by two grandsons, 9 nephews and nieces, 1 great nephew and 1 great niece, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
