He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Clarke Smallwood (Prudence Steward) of Bloomery and Ann Margaret Downs (Chris) of Capon Bridge; his siblings, Jerry Smallwood (Diana) of Fairfax, VA, Larry Smallwood (Barbara) of Gerrardstown, Janet Tabler (late David) of Hedgesville and Martha Smallwood (Susie) of Hedgesville; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Russell Smallwood (Tina Paich), Joshua Smallwood, Taylor Martin Krielmann (Quentin) of Seattle, Drew Arthur Aclin (Luna) of Winchester, Camryn and Christopher Downs.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (49 N High St, Romney, WV 26757). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
