He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon W. Pyles and Thelma Jean Pyles (Shockey); and his siblings, Larry E. Pyles, Linda S. Pyles and Bonnie Jean Pyles.
He is survived by: his son Gary Wayne "Farmer" Pyles, II (Michelle) of Slanesville; his granddaughters, Breanna J. Martin (Jeff) of Inwood, WV and Alyssa M. Nixon (Cody) of Slanesville; his great grandchildren, Allie J. Martin and Emmett D. Martin of Inwood, WV.; and his aunt Shirley "Duke" Hunt of Romney.
