She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Fredrick Haggerty and Bessie Marie High; her husband Ivan James Shoemaker; her son Douglas Paul Shoemaker; her brother Roy Haggerty; and her half-brothers, Lawrence "Jack" Haggerty and Donald Ray Miller.
She is survived by: her son Leslie J. Shoemaker, Sr.; her grandchildren, Leslie J. Shoemaker, Jr. (Susan), Stacy Hill (Scott) and Scott M. Shoemaker (Jacqueline); her great grandchildren, Jonathan Shoemaker, Mollie Shoemaker, Heather Feeney (Sean), Courtney Hill, Logan Hill, Zachary Hill and Dianna Grace Shoemaker; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jamison Post and Jordan Funkhouser; and her great great grandchildren, Taiah Redman and Ephraim Feeney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
