He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Shrout; his children, Daniel Edward Shrout, II (Jacque Wolford) of Romney and Katherine "Ellie" Ellen Shrout of Romney; his grandchildren, William Drayk Moreland of Pittsburgh, PA., John and Meila Miller; his brother-in-law James Davis (Kathy); and his nephew Nick of Skiatook, OK. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
