We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2022, at the age of 99, Addie Wood of Romney, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvia L. Canfield and Ressie Shoemaker Canfield; her husband Hubert Wood; her daughters-in-law, Sharon Wood and Charlotte Wood; her granddaughter Jessica M. Thompson; and her siblings, Edythe Curtis, Rachel G. Hyre Mason, Inez Walton, B. Lorrayne Lawson, A. Clyde Canfield and Denzil G. Canfield.

She is survived by: her siblings, Geraldine Brinsfield of San Diego, CA and Melvin Canfield of Slanesville, WV; her sister-in-law Betty Canfield; her children, Richard C. Wood of Slanesville, WV, Ronald K. Wood, Sr. of Romney, WV, Norval L. Wood (Dottie) of Shanks, WV and Sandra R. Daugherty (Roger) of Romney, WV; her grandchildren, Carolyn S. Martin of Romney, WV, Roxie Crosbie (Mike), Becky Bohrer (Philip), Teresa Thorne (Darren), Kevin Daugherty (Christine), Melissa Alderman (Forrest), Julie Hartman, Jamie Vittorio, Ron Wood (Holly) and Joshua Wood; her great grandchildren, Rachel McBride, Paige McNeely (Tanner), Sarah King (Shane), Hunter Thorne (Samantha), Logan Alderman (Katie), Madison, Olivia Bohrer, Cora Alderman, Connor Wood, Makayla, Ryan Barrett, Landon Wood and Courtney Daugherty; and her great great grandchildren, Gracelyn and Magnolia Alderman.
