He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Ciampanella and Mary Ciampanella; his wife Madeline Blevins Ciampanella; and his siblings, Mac Ciampanella, Carlo Ciampanella, Alfred Ciampanella, Pete Ciampanella, Emma Stacy and Anna C. Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Ciampanella Rose (James) of Logan, WV, Lisa Ciampanella Reeves (Charles), Cara Ciampanella Morgan (LtCol Jack Morgan) of Fredericksburg, VA and Anthony Ciampanella (Patricia) of Fall River, WV; and his sister Lena C. Worley of California. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
