He is survived by: his wife Freda Shrewsbury Covell; and his children, Mark Covell, Cynthia Fernell, Nancy Shrewsbury, Wayne Monk, Ricky Monk and Kenneth Monk. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.
