He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Mills and Helen Syers Mills; and his niece Gina Smith. He is survived by: his wife Shirley R. Tilley Mills; his daughters, Christi Jean Martinez of Mocksville, NC and Miranda Helen Lopez of Mocksville, NC; his stepchildren, Regina Lane (Gary) of Kingsport, TN, Cindy Kelly (Kevin) of Johnson City, TN and Clifton Burnette, Jr. (Amy) of Beaver; his sister Connie Mills Harmon (Roy) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Carla Richards, Arron Campbell, TJ Booher, Chris Campbell, Abby Lester, Michael Stimson, Tiffany Martinez, Elliot Martinez, Elijah Martinez, Olivia Gregorio, Brianna Mills, Marissa Mills, Anesa Mills, Andrew Kelly and Patrick Kelly; and his pets, Maggie and Tootsie Mills. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
