He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lilly and Ruth Lilly; his wife Linda Virginia Taylor Lilly; and his brothers, Donald, Danny and David Lilly.
He is survived by: his sons, Roger E. Lilly, Jr. (Angie) of Surveyor and Shawn T. Lilly of Montcalm; his grandsons, Jakeb and Nathan Lilly; and his brother Dayton Lilly (Penny) of Shady Springs, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pine Grove Church of Christ at 664 Lorton Lick Road Bluefield, WV 24701.
