Evelene Horne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelene Horne of Rock, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Edward Gearhart and Eldona Dishner Gearhart; her husband Bobby Douglas Horne; and her siblings, Gene Gearhart, Melvin Gearhart, Gerald Gearhart and Joy Garten.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia L. Peake (Jerry "Lucky" Moore, Sr.) and Mark A. Horne; her grandsons, Christopher J. Peake, Joshua Horne (Mandy) and Jacob Horne; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Luke, Bentley, Braxton Horne, Byron and McKensie Lester.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wright Mountain Independent Baptist Church (1922 Wright Mountain Rd, Rock, WV 24747).
