She is survived by: her children, Harvey Akers (Marquita), Stephen Akers (Debbie), Marietta Buckner (Benny), Becky Dunford (Kevin) and Wanda Kaye Johnson (Gary); her grandchildren, Mark, Michael Dye, Jessica Chandler, Gabe Wood and Keith Johnson; and her siblings, Weldon Shrewsbury (Vivian), David Shrewsbury (Thelma) and Carole Sue White (Bob). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
