With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Amos Sr. of Rock, West Virginia, who passed away on October 25, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Ruth Pyne Amos; his wife Frances Louise McMahan Amos; his daughters, Shirley Copeland and Judy Hicks; and his siblings, John, Claude, Otis, Jimmy, Eugene Amos, Evelyn, Betty, Patricia and Thelma Amos.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Amos, Jr. (Shelia) of Rock Camp, WV, Carl Amos (Linda) of Ballard, WV, Howard Amos (Robin) of Lindside, WV and Brenda Peck (Wayne) of Rock Camp, WV; his sisters, Florence Amos of Lindside, WV and Martha Richards of Lindside, WV; his grandchildren, Devin, Allen Bennett, C. J. Amos, Jennifer Amos, Chris Copeland, David Copeland, Bobby Amos, Hunter Amos and Holly Adkins; and his great grandchildren, Summer, Jade, Tymber, Arabella, Bethany, Lydia Ann, Garrett, Remington, Dakota, Chloe, Kaylee and Nevaeh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the regulations associated with COVID-19 and the WV Governor's Mandate, those attending the visitation, funeral, and burial services are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
