He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shrewsbury and Virgie Huffman Shrewsbury; his children, Ernest, Curtis Shrewsbury, Elvie McKinney and Shirleen Cordle; his siblings, Hobert, Wiley, Claude, Wesley, Wilford, Jack, Cecil Shrewsbury and Faye Woods; and his children-in-law, Carol Shrewsbury, Gaye Shrewsbury, Anita Shrewsbury, Johnny Monk and Bert McKinney.
He is survived by: his children, Mason Shrewsbury of Elkton, MD, Darrell Shrewsbury (Deborah) of Reese Harmon, Larry Shrewsbury (Drema) of Lake Shawnee, Roger Shrewsbury of Bluefield, Ronnie Shrewsbury (Renee) of Princeton, Gerald Shrewsbury (Vivian) of Beeson, Freda Covell (Ron) of Reese Harmon and Sharon Shrewsbury of Blacksburg, VA; and his son-in-law David Cordle. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; three great-great-great grandchildren.
