Roger Leroy Haymond Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Leroy Haymond Jr. of Rock Cave, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Haymond and Merle "Cookie" Knicely Walton. He is survived by: his children, Gavin Haymond of Romney, WV, Dakota Haymond, Destiny Haymond and Naughtina Wagoner of Buckhannon; his stepchildren, Storm Riffle of Rock Cave, Jacob Bishop of Rock Cave and Shelby Bishop of Charleston, WV; his grandchildren, Kayden Gregory and Delilah Haymond; his siblings, Kenneth Warner of Weston, WV, Angela Metz (Roger) of Fairmont, WV, Serena Haymond and Charmin Warner of Rock Cave; his mother-in-law Jean Childress of Rock Cave; his niece Summer Warner of Queens, WV; and his nephew William Warner, Jr. of Heaston Ridge, WV. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home (95 S Kanawha St, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
