He was predeceased by: his parents, Bacel Edward and Waunita Kathleen Lane Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Shingleton, Vickie (Thomas McClain) and Alvin (Robin Wilson); his grandchildren, Randy Shingleton, Leah (Tony Chidester) and Justin Wilson; his great grandchildren, Owen, Tanner, Jase Chidester, Barrett, Brantley Wilson and Cason Burnside (Shingleton); and his siblings, Margaret Anderson, Karen (Gordon Baum), Pamela (Dallas Herndon) and Timothy Wilson (Kelly Fisher).
