He is survived by: his children, Terry Abel of West Mifflin, PA, Wendy Abel of Columbus, OH, Thomas Abel of West Mifflin, PA and David Abel (Crystal) of Buckhannon; his grandchildren, Darion, Charity, Donovan, Zackery, Jadah, Jeffrey and Grayson; his great grandchild Lillian Winneberger; his siblings, Jerry Abel (Sharlette) of Buckhannon, Roger Abel (Elizabeth) of Buckhannon, Stephen Abel (Linda) of Buckhannon, Barbara Reger (James) of North Carolina, Philip Abel (Twila) of Buckhannon, Mary Beth Edmiston (Bob) of North Carolina, Daniel Abel (Rebecca) of Morgantown, Diana Abel of North Carolina, Robert Abel of Buckhannon and Joseph Abel (Kim) of Florida; and his significant other Kathy Horn.
