He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvon Dale Tolliver and Elma Minnie Gregory Tolliver; and his brothers, Daniel Dale and Kenneth Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Alice Anderson Tolliver; his daughter Tricia Moran (Charles) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Shawnee Prewett (Mark) of Minnesota, Logan of Morgantown and Luke Moran of Morgantown; his great grandchildren, William Prewett and Brooklyn Moran; and his siblings, Linda Louise, Maxine Marie, Roger Lynn, Terry Ray and Donna Darlene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clutter Funeral and Cremation (21 Elnora Circle, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Clutter Funeral Home Chapel (21 Elnora Circle, Buckhannon, WV 26201).
