She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Haymond and Beulah Hall Haymond; her former husband Basil Brooks Davidson; her husband Charles Ray Gooding, Jr.; and her siblings, James, Lynn Haymond, Helen Louise Haymond, Doris Wilson, Vesta Williamson and Esta LaBeck.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Lynn Davidson Foley (Roy) and Tamara Sue Davidson Shorter (Jeffrey) of Gaines, WV; her grandchildren, Sidney and Katlyn Shorter; her sisters, Linda Sprauer of Yuma, AZ and Donis Martin of Buckhannon, WV; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Haymond of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Maxine Haymond of Century, WV and Joyce McCartney of Crawford, WV.; and her pets, Thomas, Puff, Bella and Azaleah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel (940 WV-20, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
