He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shell and Mabel Ellison Shell; and his siblings, James E. Shell and Nadine Lasure. He is survived by: his brother Billy Shell (Drema). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5250 Robert C Byrd Dr, Mt Hope, WV 25880).
