He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred William and Layuna Maynor Stover; and his siblings, Roy Stover, Linda Moore Stover, Goldie May Stover and Lucy Marie Stover.

He is survived by: his son Leroy Stover; his brothers, Ray Stover of Robson, Rex Stover of Robson and Virgil Stover of Robson; and his nieces and nephews, Stacy Thomas Angela Clemen, Laura Richards, Tammy Stover, Tina Corbett, Jeff Stover, Justin Stover, Keith Ross, Doug Stover, LeRoy Stover and John Paul Stover.
