She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Johnston and Wheeler Johnston; her son Jerry Lee Potter; and her siblings, Bertha King, Catherine Selbe, Shirley Coy, Diana Johnston, Lonnie and Eddie Johnston.

She is survived by: her sons, Tony (Marcy), Wayne (Deloris) and Scotty Potter; her siblings, Edith Hundley (Ralph), Clinton Johnston (Laura) and Johnny Johnston (Joyce); and her granddaughter Jessica White. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
