He is survived by: his siblings, Donald "Bird" Maier (Cindy) and Susan Snyder (William); his children, Douglas Maier (Sandee) and Lorraine Groves (James); his stepdaughter Tracy Runyan (William); and his grandchildren, Kate Forsyth, Levi Pawich, Alison Maier, Anna Runyan, Nicole Groves, Lydia Runyan, Will Runyan and Abigail Maier.
