She was predeceased by: her parent Herbert Jackson Nelson; her siblings, Kenneth Wilson and Carole Daniels; and her son Bradley James Ryan Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Wilson Nelson; her husband Bradley James Ryan Sr.; her children, Donald Lynn Ryan and Beth Ann Hixenbaugh; her grandchildren, Kimberly Boyce, James Williams (Bubby), Cynthia Hanning, Vanessa Ryan and Allen Ryan; her great grandchildren, Damien and Bently; and also Verna Hostutler Nelson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
