She was predeceased by: her father Charles E. Morris; and her siblings, Robert Morris, Joe Morris, Patty Shamrock, Peggy Meffe, Larry Morris and Molly White.
She is survived by: her mother Almira E. Eddy Morris; her husband James "Jim" H. Howvalt, Jr.; her children, Melynda DeWitt (Dave) of Lancaster, SC, Melyssa Hastings (Steven) of Stonewood, WV and James "Jimmy" Howvalt III of Fairmont; her grandchildren, Hayden Stewart (Mecca), Cameron Stewart (Haley), Alexis DeWitt (Grant), Adrienne Howvalt and Matthew Howvalt; and her siblings, Sidney Morris (Shirley) of Fairmont, Dollie Fleming (Fred) of Morgantown, Charles Morris of North Ridgeville, OH, Kay Davis of Monongah and David Morris of Baxter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel (207 2nd St, Rivesville, WV 26588). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
