She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Moyers and Judith Moyers (Mullenax); her husband Norman Carl Nelson; her close friend William Conley Raines; her daughter Dolly Watson; and her siblings, Melvin, Bobby, Charles Ervin and Ada Simpson.
She is survived by: her sons, Norman Nelson, Jr. of Riverton, WV and William Robert "Bob" Nelson (Sue) of Stevensville, MD; her grandchildren, Michael Watson (Jessica), Jimmy Watson (Jennifer), Terri Watson, Anthony Nelson (Kathy), Steven Nelson and Jason Ryan (Lena); her sister-in-law Judy Moyers; and her son-in-law Frank Watson. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
