As we bid Kelly Gwen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kelly Gwen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She is survived by: her parents, Kay Hackney and Gene Hackney of Kenna; her daughter Ashley Dunkle (Kyle Dunkle) of Jamestown, NY.; her granddaughter Kora Dunkle; her sister Kim Miller (Brian Miller) of Advent; her nieces, Kelsey Miller and Brianna Miller; and her nephew Hunter Miller.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Hubbard House (Charleston) in Kelly's honor.
