She was predeceased by: her parents, Luster Casto and Dessie Hatcher Casto; her spouse Hays Carpenter; and her siblings, Dorothy (Alvin Hunt) and Guy (Connie Casto).
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Boggess (Rick) of Goldtown, Karen Starcher (James) of Ripley and Sandra Nutter of Ravenswood; her grandchildren, Rachelle Bennett (Roy) of Ripley, Jessica Siders (William) of St. Albans, Camichell Selbe (Nathan) of Kenna and Brian Nutter (Blake) of Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Riley, Rihya, Ricci Bennett of Ripley, Brady Selbe of Kenna, Eris and Hays Nutter of Tennessee; her sister-in-law Francis Grey of Idaho; and also Brady Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Evelyn to the Grasslick Baptist Church, 178 Pleasant Valley Rd, Given, WV 25245.
