He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Watson and Isabelle Watson (Davis); and his sisters, Iris June Conley, Dorothy Ann Murry and Ella Faye Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Watson (Fitzpatrick); his children, Richard Watson, Sheila Scarberry (Michael) and Michael Watson (Terri); his sister Mildred Hickman; his grandchildren, Adam Watson, Shelly Metz, Stephanie Justice, Caylee Jo Czapp, Lexis Czapp, Dylan Czapp and Mika Watson; and his great grandchildren, Elly Jo Justice, Kayden Justice, Rayanna Jo Alfonso, Bella Metz, Reese Metz, Presley Metz and Emmy Metz.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
