She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Richard and Hazel Mattox (Rollins); and her brother Junior Mattox. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Melton; her children, Michael Melton of Ripley and Misty Melton of Leon; her siblings, Richard Mattox of Leon, Jeannie Davis of Leon and Carolyn Russell of Leon; and her pet Hershey.
