He is survived by: his children, Kathy Shafer (Mike) and David Casto (Patty) of Fairplain; his grandchildren, Kristen Gooch (Joe) of Ripley, Samantha Reynolds (Nathan) of Ripley and Andrew Casto of Parkersburg; his great grandchildren, Eastlynn Gooch and Maverick Reynolds; his sisters, Robin Kersey and Loretta Hall; and his former wife Maggie Casto.
