He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses "Bunt" Ray and Deltie Shouldis Ray; his wife Elladean Ray; and his son Franklin Ray. He is survived by: his son Tim Ray (Karen) of Ripley; his daughter-in-law Barbie Ray of Upper Track, WV; his grandchildren, Johnny Ray (Casey Murphy) of Ripley, Travis Bostic (Lynn) of Sissonville and Maggie Cooper (Shawn) of Elkins; his great grandchildren, Hunter Bostic, Sydney Cooper, Malia Cooper and Ashton Robin; and his siblings, Kenneth Ray of Pinkerton, OH, Foster Ray of Harmony, Mabel Burdette of Charleston, Eunice Hennen of Dunbar and Ilene Shamblin of Ravenswood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
