She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Jones and Laoma Jones; her former husband Ivan Painter (Bill); and her siblings, Anna Loftin, J. B. Jones, Donald Jones, Roy Jones, Jim Jones and Lonnie Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Freddie Monroe; her daughters, Debbie Cook (Denvil), Terri Cooley (Tony), Sonya Kincaid (Jerry) and Angie Barickman; her stepdaughters, Sandie Kennedy (Steve) and Kathy Monroe; and her brother Vernon Jones (Mary). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
