She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bowen of Washington and Vesta Amma Cottrell Bowen; her husband Rev. Romie J. Edgell; her sons, Charles Edward Edgell, John Wesley Edgell and Timothy Wayne Edgell; and her siblings, Ray Bowen, John Bowen, Ernestine Carpenter and Marie Hively. She is also survived by her grandchildren; great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
