He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenous Elmer Johnson and Beulah L. Johnson (Armentrout). He is survived by: his daughter Charity Rae Johnson of Inwood, WV; his stepchildren, Donald Jenkins of Hanover, PA, Dwayne Jenkins of Martinsburg, WV, Anthony Tanner, Sr. of Berkley Springs, WV and Melissa Tanner of Romney, WV; and his siblings, Sidney H. Johnson of Viewtown, VA, Franklin K. Johnson of Rio, WV, Nancy L. Mills of Mineral, VA, Helen A. Meksvanh of Port St and Elmer Newton Johnson of Dallas, NC. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the McKee Funeral Home (16700 Northwestern Turnpike, Augusta, WV 26704). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
