It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Rebecca (Mallow) Galvan (Ridgeley, West Virginia), born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alston Mallow and Emma Mallow (Twigg); her sons, Mark Hedrick Sr. and Jon Hedrick; her great grandchildren, Cassie Metz and Raymond Tasker; and her brother Clark Mallow.
She is survived by: her husband Van "Skip" Andrew Galvan; her children, Royce Allen Hedrick, Jr. (Kathy) of Cumberland, MD, Cynthia Freeman of Cumberland, MD and Shawn Hedrick (Azolean Jenkins) of Cumberland, MD; her daughter-in-law Karen Hedrick; her grandchildren, Paul, Tina, Royce, III, Felisha, Joshua, Ruth, Travis, Mark, Jr., Cody, Michael, II, Daneana, Gary, Dustin, Kristin and Jonathan; and her siblings, Leonard "Joe" Twigg (Nancy), Vivian Helsley (Robert), Donald Mallow (Maggie), Brenda Collins (Bill) and Judy Footen (Fran). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
