He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard "Dick" Bernard Peer and Foleda A. Helmick (Tusing); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Peer (Pryor); his children, John Peer (Tracie), Marsha Keil (Brian) and Billie Wheeler (Gary); his grandchildren, Heather Rose (Steve), Logan Keil (Brittany), Ethan Peer (Kaytlyn), Alexis Lucia (Justin), Isabel Jackson and Ryan Jackson; his great grandchildren, Devanie, Kylee, Owen Rose, Emma, Jameson Keil, Allirose Sachs and Jaxen Peer; his sister Sharon Malone; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Pryor, Butch Pryor (Marsha), Mary Lou Miller (David) and Shirley Harden (Wayne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
