He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd P. Benson and Verna F. Benson (Dreas); and his grandson Andrew Wolfe. He is survived by: his wife Helen Benson (Harris); his children, Shawn Thomas Benson, Dawn Michelle Wolfe, Sheri Anne Brant and Shannon Thomas Benson; his brothers, Bernard Paul Benson and Floyd Paul Benson, II; his grandchildren, Christopher, Amie, Ashley, Megan, Nathaniel, Peyton, Shi, Ethan, Siarra, Wil and Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Blake, Luna, Zahara, Elora, Francheska, Corinna, Madeline, Cameron and Helena; and his pet Moo.
