He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Lloyd Mills and Bonnie Smith; his stepfather James Smith; his grandparents, Don and Icie Arbogast; his parents-in-law, Robert and June Skidmore; his sisters-in-law, Joanne Dodrill and Carolyn Bennick; and his friends, Ronnie Wolford and Gary Lindner.
He is survived by: his close friends, Max, Bumper and McKinley; his wife Debra Skidmore Mills (Debbie); his adoptive daughter Nicole Shaffer; his stepson David Roberson (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jordan, Noah and Maddie Roberson; his sister Rose Ann Squillari; his brothers-in-law, Robert Skidmore, Jr. (Melissa), Brian Skidmore (Julie), David Dodrill and Edward Bennick; and his friends, Louise Grumbine, Wilber Hite and Brian Long. He is also survived by numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins.
