He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Phillips and Delphi Phillips; his wife Regina Phillips (Rupprecht); his sisters, Ann Katan and Fran Abdula; and his grandchildren, Megan and Jacob Dennison.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Merritt (Greg), Roger VanMeter (Rhonda) and Tammy Dennison (Steve); his grandchildren, Beth Parry (Kyle), Carrie Dixon, Eric VanMeter (Megan), Craig VanMeter and Alex VanMeter; his great grandchildren, Alexus England, Brayden Hamilton, Jordan Zinn, Emma VanMeter, Jaxon, Parry and Gabbi VanMeter; and his brother Kenneth Phillips. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Upchurch Funeral Homes - Cumberland (202 Greene St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
