He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Miles and Nannie Russell McCoy Stanley; and his sisters, Mable Stanley, Marjorie Jones and Anna Bell Kuhne.

He is survived by: his niece Pat Bolvin; his great-nephew Robert Bolvin; and also Tanner Bolvin.
