She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Maddox and Artimisha L. McCallister Maddox; and her son Jason. She is survived by: her husband Joe Adams; her children, Joel Adams (Hayley Bartow) of Scott Depot, Jodi Adams of Charleston and Jonathon Adams (Jessica) of Renick, WV; and her brothers, Vernon Maddox of Columbus, OH and Larry Maddox (JoAnn) of Decatur, AL. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
