He was predeceased by: his parents, George Altizer and Myrlie Altizer; his former wife Judy Paulin Altizer; and his siblings, Harmon, Catherine, Ed, Jim and Louie.
He is survived by: his wife June Altizer; his siblings, Shirley Hare and Thelma Harrison; his children, George Altizer (Sharon Altizer) and Cathy Altizer; his stepson Brian Gray; and his granddaughters, Bridgette Altizer and Paige Altizer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lewisburg Funeral Chapels (884 Jefferson St, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
