He was predeceased by: his father Harold Coleman; and his sister Patricia Coleman. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Coleman; his former wife Lena Prater; his sons, Robert Dale Kennedy of Matewan, WV and Shane Edward "Eddie" Wolford of Freeburn, KY; his siblings, Tim Lockhart of Red Jacket, WV, Terry Coleman of McCarr, KY, Carl Lockhart of Lexington, KY, Harold Kennedy of Vulcan, WV, Sensuraye Hurley of Phelps, KY, Tina Dotson (Donald) of Red Jacket, WV and Sarah Hatfield (Denver) of Matewan, WV.; and his sister-in-law Mary Prater.
