She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Hardesty and Violet Collins Hardesty; and her husband Douglas M. Perkins. She is survived by: her adoptive daughter Marsha Lockard; her son Doug Perkins (Valerie) of Meador, WV; her siblings, Walter Hardesty (Shirley) of Red Jacket, WV, Roger Hardesty (Effie) of Meador, WV, Russell Hardesty of Red Jacket, WV, Tessie Blankenship of Red Jacket, WV and Patricia Colangelo of Red Jacket, WV; her grandchildren, Kristie Kennedy, Ryan Perkins, Shayla Justice, Derrick Christian, Brittany Perkins, Keri-Lynn Pope, Shawn Bench, Harold May, Andrew Blankenship, Summer Perkins and Kadie-Jo Perkins; and her great grandchildren, Brendon Kennedy, Keegun Kennedy, Kinley Cooper, Sophia Justice, Anna Elkins, Lil Brian Elkins, Alex Elkins, Sabastian Varney, Isabella Bench, Shawn Bench, Hannah Edwards and Kyleigh Cooper. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and a community of friends.
