It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Cox Sr. of Red Jacket, West Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thern Cox and Mary Dye Cox; his son Steven Eugene Thomas Cox; and his brother William Osborne. He is survived by: his wife Mary Daniels Cox of Red Jacket, WV; his children, Melissa Poore (James) and George Cox Jr. (Michelle) of Red Jacket, WV; and his stepchildren, Johnnie Daniels, Bradley Allen Daniels, Sandy, Marsha Warden, Brian, Delisa Daniels and Regina Daniels. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews as well as a community of friends.
