He is survived by: his children, Charles Allen Hensley, Diana Hensley of Florida and Darris Walker (Stephen) of North Matewan; and his siblings, Charles Hensley of Varney, WV, Danny Hensley of Varney, WV, Shirley Woolum of Varney, WV, Judy Starkey of Ragland, WV and Nettie Neace of Musick Bottom, WV. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
