We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2021, at the age of 78, Bessie Dixon of Red Jacket, West Virginia, born in Thacker, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Harris and Gertrude Harris (Jude); her husband Arthur "Aut" Dixon; and her siblings, Mable Crum, Wilma Casey, Luther Harris, Curtis Harris and Larry Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Dixon of Red Jacket, WV, Jeff Dixon (Marsha) of Matewan, WV, Terry Dixon (Tammy) of Cleveland, NC and Tim Dixon of Belfry, KY; her grandchildren, Brandi Dixon of Cleveland, NC, Cody, Lauren Dixon of Statesville, NC and Austin Dixon of Cross Lanes, WV; her great grandchildren, Lukas Ray Dixon of Cleveland, NC, Jacen Keith Dixon of Cleveland, NC and Harper Knox Dixon of Statesville, NC; her brothers, Pastor Opie R. Harris (late Norma Lee) of Phelps, KY and Oliver "Buddy" Harris Jr. (Jean) of North Matewan, WV; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Harris of Varney, WV, Bonnie Harris of Phelps, KY and Charlene Harris of Freeburn, KY.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
