He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. Hale and Eula Brickey Hale; his wife Ruby Hale; his granddaughter Cassie Dawn Hale; and his siblings, Richard Hale, Ray Hale, Charles Hale, Pauline Williams and Ruby Radford.
He is survived by: his son Charles E. "Buck" Hale (Sherry) of Red House; and his granddaughter Brandy Hale.
